07/02/05
Opps, it appears that some of the downloads on the site were quite old, compaired
to the versions on my computer.
I have now updated the files on the page as well as the mirrors to their
proper December releases.
Also, the standalone installer is now been recompiled with the 01/16/05 level
release.
06/26/05
The next release from the GoldenEye Doom2 TC will most likely be a single
player level set containing the new levels.
However future single player level sets will be for the Edge engine only.
Multiplayer maps will continue to be port independent.

The last few updates were kindof short. Here is a real list of what is currently
being worked on:
-Cradle, both for Single player and DM.
-Water Caverns, both for Single and DM.

Progress is slow due to RL. The level set is still being worked on currently
as well as the usual enhancements and the new maps.
Also, if anyone would like to help asist me with the EDGE version with new
effects or possibly code the Zdoom multiplayer version, that would be greatly

Production continues on both the JDoom version and the DEH version.
However, its been greatly slowed to homework/classwork in the past few

07/10/03 Another Update
I finally finished my HL Model to Doom2 Sprite Convertor. This will allow
for better enemy graphics and animations. Also the Control, Caverns, and
Cradle level are being worked on.

My good friend, Bob over at
Doom Wad
Station, has updated his site. It looks really good, I would check out
his site for hard-to-find TC's/PC's and other cool wads.
In GoldenEye news, since finals are done, I can finally get back to work
on the TC. I should have a bunch of updated graphics fairly soon.

1.) Just delete the ge64levs.gwa file in your 'ge64ddf' folder.
2.) Then re-download the ge64levs.zip and extract it to your 'ge64ddf'
folder.

10/20/02 Good News and Bad News...
First off the bad news, Nickster is leaving the Doom community and thus his
position as Edge porter.
(If anyone wants to assist me
in ddf coding I would greatly be appreciated.)
As for the good news, the ddf code I have received is nearly bug free.
So in coordinance with the upcoming James Bond movie that is going to be
released this November,
on 11/22/02, I will release a major version of the GoldenEye Doom2 the Edge
version!
This version will be compatible with Edge v1.27.

As Always the GoldenEye Mod for Edge version is still in progress.

here. As well snow, rain, fog effects may be added. Also
work has continued on the GE Edge Trailer.

This file contains updated graphics/levels for owners of Doom1 or Ultimate
doom.

09/22/02 Progress Continues...
Currently I'm working on a new level pack, this will include the ones
QuakeDude007, plus 3D bridges and as always more network game fixes.

My new graphics program, which I'm working on is about 95% complete. I just
got to fix some minor frames and rotation problems.
07/20/02 News Flash
Developments has continued on GoldenEyeDoom2 over the past few weeks.
The next version of GED2 will includes better detailed, more realistic, and
hopefully have more animated enemies(possibly even idle animations.) Thanks
to my new programming project.

05/16/02 New Screenies!
I have uploaded over 78 new screenies of DEH version of GoldenEye Doom II
now downloadable. The screenies feature a wide ranges of the levels
available. Pictures of the Edge version should soon follow.
Also the Edge page was greatly improved. It should now not be a huge
maze of details.
05/15/02 Level fixes
I was doing a quick check and found out there was a problem exiting level
5. I fixed this bug, plus I went over almost all of the levels and fixed
numerous texture selection and alignment problems. Also I found out that
I made a huge mistake in the ge64levs launcher file, which caused it use
the old style mus files instead of the midi files. This has also been
remedied.
Ge64levs.zip and oge64levs.zip now contain the updated level files.
05/13/02 New DEH Version Available!
Finally after a very long time a newer version of the ged2.zip and gold64.zip
is available.
This version was done by CeeJay.
- - New weapons: (LaserWatch, Slap, PP7, KF7 Soviet, Automatic shotgun, RC-P90,

A 3.88MB videoclip of the Silo level is available that show cases the
some of the new features that are available in Edge 1.26+, that are
currently being implemented in the upcoming Edge version of GoldenEye Doom2
TC.

Good news and bad news... First off the bad news is today is my last day
of spring break :-( However, during this break, I finally completed the
Silo(Map06) and Archives(Map12) levels. This brings the level total to 23

The next level map pack will contain the silo and archives. Over the past
few days the silo has been coming along quite nicely. Also I have optimized
the web page, so it should load faster for those of you who use dial-up.

01/31/02 Updated oge64levs.zip and ge64doom
For all of you, that are running non-deh or non-ddf ports. The oge64levs.zip
level pack has been updated to the match the graphic detail of the ge64levs.zip.
Users of: doom2.exe(original) and Jdoom will want this.
Also those of you running Doom1 or UD, you can now download the new level
pack.

01/18/02 New Ge64levs.zip and Ge64Dm.zip.
The new ge64levs.zip contains loads of level additions and fixes. Numerous
bugs have been fixed and newer textures have been updated. This level pack
also contains mid's not mus files. So they should sound better on most sounds
cards. Also the more detail has been added to the levels. I tried to model
the levels more like the movie then the limited graphic detail in the game.
The ge64dm.zip has been also updated to fix the player start problem in the
'basement' and the 'egyptian temple' level has now been fully fixed.
*Note: Numerous levels have had textures updated or changed. I would advise
you make sure you have the newest gold64.zip file, so you have the right
textures.

12/20/01 Minor Fixes in ge64dm.zip
In this DM pack I have updated the ge64skn.wad, which now includes updated
Bond skins that have updated graphics and fixes the floating body bug. The
status bar faces have also been updated.

Its our very very late birthday, since 07/03/00, this page has been at
NewDoom.Com. Has it really been that long? Also not to forget to mention,
that before Newdoom.Com changed servers, the counter was over 300,000. Overall
I don't think the progress on the TC has been really that bad compared to
other projects which takes years.

This updated one will have the facility, archives, bunker, aztec(funkyseabass),
egyptian(ss4j), complex, and some movie levels from various James Bond
movies(MoneyMan.)
Also in a few days I will post a partial TC that Sam did, its called
Moonraker.

04/24/01 A new Doom2 (Non-port version) is available.
This version includes another 7 levels and some more textures.
Also this webpage has been optimized for modem users, by using Html 3.2 standards
instead of the bloated new standards. I have also converted the graphics
on the main page from gif to jpg to load faster.
03/27/01 A new version of GoldenEyeDoom2 has been released.
Updated files are goldeneyedoom2.zip, gold64.zip, and ge64levs.zip.
New features: Includes (9 more levels) 19+ levels, more music, graphics,
and fixed the pain elemental bug. Also a pseudo 3d level of the library level
is about complete.
03/04/01 New version of Dm levels.
All the DM stuff is now in one zip (ge64dm.zip), this zip includes the dm
levels, skins, There is also a newer version of Doom(1) GE64doom.zip available
it has some more and the beta skins.

02/07/01 I was playing my wad on my friends's OpenGL based machine and noticed
that the ge64levs.zip and goldeneyedoom2.zip that was posted was quite old
and outdated. Please download the newest version. This version was compiled
with Zennode and is OpenGL compatible.

I ran my through it so I could check the spelling and boom! It slowed down
my page and bogged it down with unnecessary code!
I also fixed and optimized this site for web users with slow modems.

10/26/00 If you are using LEGacyGL for this add-on, I would advise you to,
turn off the GL portion of Legacy and use the software mode, Legacy has a
some clipping problems with this and some other TC's. I will see if I can
fix that.

with JDoom. Yes, it is! You will need to download the Doom2 version. If your
port doesn't support .deh or .ddf files you will have to download the slightly
